FIP FS-FC Rotameters

Manufactured in Italy, FIP FS-FC Rotameters operate according to the variable area principle, where a float is suspended in upward-flowing media in a conic plastic tube. The vertical position of the float within the metering tube depends on the flow rate of the media. The metering tube is graduated in suitable flow units, and the top edge of the float indicates the instant flow rate value.

The scales measure in both l/h and Nm3/h for ease of calculation. End connectors inside are available in various materials, from malleable cast iron to PVC-U. The floats are made in stainless steel (AISI 316) and PP to easily match the right chemical compatibility and offer different ranges to measure.

The rotameter is very simple to operate and requires very little maintenance. The operating pressure for the end connectors made of PVC-U, PVC-C, and PP is 10 bar when water is at 20°C, and connectors made from carbon steel and stainless steel is 15 bars when water is at 20°C.
